Thomas R. “Tom” Brownlee, age 77, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home.

He was born March 12, 1943 in Garden City, KS and lived in the area since 1971. Tom married Joanne Himebaugh on June 7, 1970 in Baton Rouge, LA. He owned and operated Brownlee Builders for over 30 years. Tom and Joanne are members of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Joanne Brownlee; 3 children, Dawn “Chrys” (Troy) Bienvenu, Barney Brownlee (Kristy), Thomas “Tab” (Marsha) Brownlee, embraced as a daughter Lisa (Kevin) Clouser; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Breanna, Jayda, and Jevin; 4 brothers, Richard (Barbara) Brownlee, Dale (Carolyn) Brownlee, Billy (Cheri) Brownlee, Steve (Pam) Brownlee; 3 sisters, Judy Webb, Patty (Ron) Bushnell, B. Anne (Ben) Blanchete.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Beulah Brownlee and 1 sister, Marilyn and her spouse (Jimmy) Waltrip.

Public visitation with viewing limited to 25 people at a time with social distancing will be held 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. A Memorial Service with no viewing will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 with a luncheon following at Bethel Baptist Church (1066 E. Byron Rd., Norton Shores) with Pastor Doug VanderMolen officiating.
